The wonderfully incredible news is that Evelyn does ~NOT~ have Celiac so she may have wheat without fear now!  The jury is still out on dairy and its derivatives...we need a two-fold test on that one.  In a few months we will look into skin scratch tests and patch tests.

For now we're going to let her have some time away from pain, pokes, and Doctors.  She's such a sweetheart and its been hard to see her waddle through the house whispering, "Ouchie" and rubbing her arm where the i.v. was.  Or grabbing her tummy and screaming.

So angel-baby you can have all the yummy wheat you want...but don't go too crazy girl!

~*Happenings and Moving On*~

This last week has been INsane!

Two days before her biopsies the little Peanut developed quite the fever and the Doc felt it was strep.  Learned the hard way that she's allergic to Penicillin and its derivatives.  Switched her meds and she was able to have the biopsies done.....however, the drama wasn't over yet!

She reacted to the surgery in the exact opposite direction most children go in.  She had terrible, terrible pain.  She was so groggy for hours and screamed for the rest of the first day.  It broke my heart to see her in so much pain!  Even today, three days afterward she's still not herself.  I realize her recovery was made all the harder dealing with strep as well.

Our little peanut is waiting for answers.  Why does it hurt so much to eat certain foods?  Why is she plagued with reflux despite a solid year of treatment and no ceasing of the symptoms?
While I do not like "labels", especially of the medical kind, sometimes they are necessary to get answers.  I anxiously await the results of these biopsies of her stomach, esophagus, and small intestine.  We are looking at both Celiac and Eosinophilic Esophigitis.

Stay tuned for answers!  We hope!

~*2 Long Months Ago*~

It was 2 long months ago that I received new pics of Dalton.  I was so excited to see that 37 new pics were released.  And there were *THREE* of my kiddo!  Hey, that's better than his previous ratio!  So, here is my elusive yet charming soon-to-be-son.

Gone in a flash!  So much for that picture!

Dalton with classmates, he's the cutie in all brown!

Dalton and classmates!  (He's in brown)

He is very very shy around strangers so we are blessed to receive every picture we can!
Until next time!

What a wonderful weekend for celebrating!

I turned 32 and while I am still not completely ready to claim this new decade while I feel SO much younger than that silly 'ole number; I do know how to get my party self on!

Ok, it wasn't exactly a party-hardy type thing we just don't do that sort of celebrating.  I felt very honored and blessed by what my husband had planned for me.

Thank you my handsome husband for treating me like a princess for the day!  You also made a dream come true for two incredible little boys!
