~*Day 4 of Bless Your Child*~

Day 4-
Be ready to wipe each tear!

In our house there are many tears.
This fact breaks my heart, yet, it is indeed, a fact.
With several children who have experienced abuse and trauma this is part of their healing.
The hunched shoulders mean "I have no self-confidence or self-worth"

We rarely see this anymore!

Letting go of that hurt.
Learning self-confidence.
Realizing forgiveness is freedom.
For one little one the tears are usually from physical discomfort.  Multiple allergies that affect multiple systems of the body make for a very uncomfortable little one, at times.
For others in our family it is simply the process of growing up.  Our oldest princess was an only child for the first 7 yrs of her life and, oh my, has she adjusted beautifully!  We occasionally see the attitude of resentment or annoyance spring up but it is always short lived.

While the process is difficult it brings healing.

Psalm 126:5
Those who sow with tears
will reap with songs of joy.
