~*Mental Monday*~

I know the song says "Manic* Monday" but today was overtly "Mental Monday"...I truly woke up on the wrong side of the bed and it just went down hill from there for the first few hours, however, by 9 a.m. the day was redeemed!

Tried all night to get in touch with my dear husband to no avail.  Definitely gave me a case of the grumpies to not be able to talk to him!

On the way to our Zoo excursion my Sunshine decided to play "eye doctor" in the back seat and snapped the temple off of his extremely expensive glasses.  As I found a place to pull over and inspect the damage I told him to pray for me right then and there because I know me...I was mad.  Yup, seriously mad.  I'm not justifying the surge of anger I felt at all.  It was not my most stellar parenting moment.
The old least these didn't break easy!

Damage done.  Calling in the morning to see if we can replace just the temple since it should still be under warranty and, also, get new lenses since these are all scratched up.  Yes, we've had them 3 months.  He lost the first pair of glasses in just 6 days; yes, they said that was a record!

Moving on...We enjoyed the day romping around Wild Africa and spying on the cute baby giraffes.
We wore the children out really well and then roasted marshmallows.  I'll have pictures later of that.

Devin took the children back to the Clinic to have their TB* tests read and they were clean.

They went to the Mainland GZ and walked around the medical market.  He described it this way: "That was different".

Why, yes, their ancient medicine consists of animal body parts and even animal secretions.  Different can be good, though, right?

After lunch and a nap they played at a local park before dinner.

You can see the difference in her legs here!

Doesn't dinner look amazing!
Not your average Chinese American buffet!

This is the funniest picture EVER of Analina.  Devin said she was just hamming it up!

Ice cream for dessert!

Psalm 130:4
But with you there is forgiveness,
so that we can, with reverence, serve you.
